A brief Description of an Avatar is its a computer user's representation of himself/herself or alter ego which is an object representing the user.An Avatar can be in the form of a three-dimensional model such as used in computer games or an Avatar can be a two dimensional (Picture) or a one-dimensional user name which is used on Internet forums.
Avatars can be used to introduce something new to a website or classroom teaching.
Avatars can also just be simply used to create humor or also to help Children and Adults with poor reading skills.

I have the understanding that Avatars could become a creative and innovated way to attain childrens attention in learning at school because the message portrayed could become short and entertaining.
